Visionary Lane centers on an outdoor living area built off the back of the house. The focal point is a round gas fire bowl set on a broad concrete patio, filled with lava rock, throwing real flame with seating pulled up around it.
Our gas fire pit page covers the case for gas over wood: no embers leaving the bowl and a flame that goes out when you turn it off. The patio here is poured wide enough that the seating group does not crowd the fire.
Around it, black mulch beds and boulder groupings frame the patio, with lawn running out to the property line.
